Breakfast and early departure to the north of the country, passing through Okahandja and Otjiwarongo. If time permits, there will be free time in Okahandja to visit the Mbangura Craft Market. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Etosha National Park where we will go on a short safari. Tonight we will spend the night at a camp located near the park, a perfect place to experience nature at night. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure by 4x4 vehicle for a full-day safari in Etosha National Park (the 4x4 vehicle is property of the camp and will be shared with other guests). If there are more than 9 passengers, the guide will rotate between vehicles to ensure at least a half-day safari in Spanish. This National Park is one of the largest in Africa, owing its unique landscape to a generally dry lake basin of approximately 5,000 km². Etosha was proclaimed as Namibia's first conservation area in 1907 by the then German government; at that time, it covered a large area of 93,240 km² and was then the largest game reserve in the world. Some 114 species of mammals have been found within the park, and several are rare in other parts of Africa and are in danger of extinction, such as the black rhinoceros, cheetah, and black-fronted impala. The safari includes snacks arranged by the camp, although there will be a stop at one of the park's lodges with free time for lunch (not included). Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure by road to the Damaraland region, where you can see the volcanic landscape with its incredible geological formations. Along the way, you will stop to visit the Himba, the mythical tribe that only lives in Namibia. This excursion allows us to learn about the culture and lifestyle of these desert dwellers, who live as semi-nomadic people and who, after centuries, continue to preserve their traditions. Continue to the lodge for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, depart in open 4x4 vehicles for an excursion through the dry terraces of the Damaraland Rivers in search of the elusive Desert Elephant. The safari concludes with refreshments while enjoying the sunset. Return to the lodge, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the lodge and departure to visit the Twyfelfontein rock carvings, dating back up to 6,000 years and the largest sample of rock art in Africa. After the visit, we continue to Swakopmund, one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Namibian coast. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and transfer to Walvis Bay for a catamaran cruise to spot dolphins and sea lions while tasting the excellent local oysters, canapés and sparkling wine. After the cruise, drive to the Namib Desert through the Ghaub Pass and Kuiseb to reach the Sossusvlei area. Arrival and free afternoon to rest and enjoy the lodge facilities. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and morning departure to visit the Sossusvlei and Deadvlei dunes, some up to 300 meters high. Depending on the time of day, they take on various colors, from yellow to red to various shades of orange. We will climb one of the dunes to admire the immensity of this desert. Then, we will visit Sesriem Canyon, where centuries of erosion have carved a narrow gorge about 1 km long. At the bottom of the gorge, which is between 30 and 40 meters high, are natural pools that fill during the rainy season. Sesriem derives its name from the time when pioneers had to tie six lengths of leather together to draw water from the pools. Lunch at the lodge and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure by road to the Kalahari Desert, taking a panoramic tour of the area on the way. Arrival at the lodge at midday in time for lunch. In the afternoon, departure in 4x4 vehicles for a safari (the 4x4 vehicle is property of the hotel), where you can see a large number of wild animals that live within the private reserve. At the end of the safari, we will enjoy a cocktail with snacks while watching the impressive sunset. Return to the lodge at dusk. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure for a hike accompanied by members of the Bushmen tribe, hunter-gatherers considered the oldest tribe in Africa. During the visit, which lasts approximately an hour and a half, you will learn about the way of life of this nomadic tribe and their culture and traditions. At the end, return to Windhoek in time for a panoramic tour of the city. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, depart by road to Windhoek and, if time permits, we will take a panoramic tour of the city. Afterwards, transfer to Windhoek International Airport.
Important note: Please note that the outbound flight can only be booked after 6:00 PM, as the journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, excluding stops.
