- Triple rooms: In Mexico, triple rooms generally do not consist of three, but of two beds where the clients must accommodate. Only in some hotels and always subject to availability, a folding bed is provided for the third passenger, although this extra bed cannot be guaranteed.
- Early arrival at hotels does not guarantee that rooms will be available. International standard time applies, unless additional nights of accommodation are purchased to guarantee immediate access to the rooms. Generally, rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. Likewise, room availability on the day of departure from the hotel is also limited in time, customers will be informed at the time of check-in at the hotel.
-Credit card: All hotels in Mexico require the passenger to have a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to facilitate telephone calls, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Luggage: In case of lost luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing.
-Tips: Tipping is mandatory in Mexico, ranging from 15%, 18% or 20% depending on the establishment. Recommended tips for airport porters are 2 USD per piece, in hotels 3 or 4 USD per piece, and guides and/or drivers 8 USD per person per day.
-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical, flight schedule or other events.
-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Mexico, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-If weather conditions or other events beyond our control require it, the order of the itinerary could be affected.
-People with reduced mobility: many places in Mexico, hotels and transportation are not adapted for wheelchairs. Wheelchair users are required to consult and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the client.
-Behaviour during the trip: if a passenger's behaviour endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, the latter will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for the services that they cannot enjoy.
-Personal documentation and entry requirements in Mexico: it is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current regulations regarding entry and exit of the country to which they are travelling, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities.
