-The deadline for requesting reservations for this tour or extra services will be 31 days before arrival in Mexico. After this deadline, requests for changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline and will be subject to request.
-Data required for reservation management: In order to offer a better service, we ask that you provide us with as much information as possible at the time of making your reservation, especially the passenger's full name and passport details, as well as a telephone number where we can contact you at your destination. No refund will be made if the information provided is incorrect.
-Shared service: This regular tour is shared with Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or Latin American tourists, speaking only Spanish and Italian, Spanish and English or Spanish and French.
-List of hotels: The hotels will be confirmed 31 days before departure, based on those published in the program, and may vary depending on availability at the time of receiving the reservation request. If we cannot offer the hotels in the program, other hotels of a similar category to the one requested will be offered, this last being specified in our confirmation. Once accepted, no claim will apply for the change of hotels. The hotel rooms are standard category. For other types of rooms, see supplement.
- Triple rooms: In Mexico, triple rooms generally do not consist of three, but of two beds where the clients must accommodate. Only in some hotels and always subject to availability, a folding bed is provided for the third passenger, although this extra bed cannot be guaranteed.
- Early arrival at hotels does not guarantee that rooms will be available. International standard time applies, unless additional nights of accommodation are purchased to guarantee immediate access to the rooms. Generally, rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. Likewise, room availability on the day of departure from the hotel is also limited in time, customers will be informed at the time of check-in at the hotel.
-Credit card: All hotels in Mexico require the passenger to have a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to facilitate telephone calls, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Luggage: In case of lost luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing.
-Tips: Tipping is mandatory in Mexico, ranging from 15%, 18% or 20% depending on the establishment. Recommended tips for airport porters are 2 USD per piece, in hotels 3 or 4 USD per piece, and guides and/or drivers 8 USD per person per day.
-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical, flight schedule or other events.
-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Mexico, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-If weather conditions or other events beyond our control require it, the order of the itinerary could be affected.
-People with reduced mobility: many places in Mexico, hotels and transportation are not adapted for wheelchairs. Wheelchair users are required to consult and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the client.
-Behaviour during the trip: if a passenger's behaviour endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, the latter will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for the services that they cannot enjoy.
-Personal documentation and entry requirements in Mexico: it is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current regulations regarding entry and exit of the country to which they are travelling, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry and health requirements vary from one country to another and may also be modified at short notice and without prior notice.
Published prices for children under 12 years of age apply only when sharing a room with two adults and without the right to an extra bed. Maximum 2 children per room. From 12 years old they pay as an adult.

Breakfast and departure for a half-day panoramic visit to the city center, to see the Plaza de la Constitución (better known as Zócalo), surrounded by beautiful baroque buildings, including the Cathedral, the most important religious monument. largest in the country built on the most outstanding Aztec temple; the National Palace, headquarters of the presidency of the Republic, where you can admire some of the murals by Diego de Rivera and the Templo Mayor, the great temple of the Aztec capital. Continuation to the Museum of Anthropology where we will visit the Aztec room. After the visit, return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to depart on a local flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Capital of the State of Chiapas. Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the pier and boat ride in the Sumidero Canyon. Lunch at a local restaurant. Next, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Arrival and accommodation.

Breakfast. We will start the day with a visit to the local market, one of the most typical in the region where hundreds of indigenous people come daily to sell their products. Continuation with a visit to the baroque-style church of Santo Domingo, founded in 1547. Next, departure to visit the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan; The first one is very particular since in the church you can appreciate the influence of paganism in its ceremonies, while the second one differs a lot from the previous one because the Zinacanteco indigenous people are very attached to the Catholic faith. There they will have the opportunity to cook an authentic tortilla and taste a glass of "Pox", an ancient Mayan elixir. Return to San Cristóbal and free afternoon. Accommodation.
Departure very early to Palenque, with a stop in Ocosingo to have breakfast at a local restaurant. During an approximate 5-hour drive along a mountain road, you can admire incredible changes in the lush vegetation of this area of Chiapas. Stop en route to visit the Agua Azul waterfalls. Free time to explore the area on your own and have lunch (not included). Arrival in Palenque in the late afternoon. Accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning, departure to the archaeological zone of Palenque located within the Chiapas jungle. The area offers in stone and stucco the beautiful realizations of the Mayan plastic and is considered one of the most beautiful areas of Mexico. Among all its temples, the most important is the so-called Temple of the Inscriptions, where the tomb of Pakal with his famous jade mask was discovered. After the visit, continue to Campeche, stopping en route for lunch at a local restaurant. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to the archaeological zone of Uxmal. This area, whose name means "built in three stages", is a classic example of the classic and post-classic Maya era. The main buildings of Uxmal are: the Pyramid of the Fortune Teller, the Palace of the Governors and the Quadrangle of the Nuns. Lunch at a local restaurant and continue to Mérida, also known as "The White City", where its residences from the colonial era and French, Italian and Arab styles from the beginning of the century, testify to the past wealth born from the cultivation of sisal. Stop at the Zócalo de Mérida where you can admire the main monuments of the city: the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace and the Casa de Montejo. Accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to the archaeological zone of Chichén-Itzá, the Mayan capital of Yucatán that flourished between the 5th and 10th centuries A.D. During the visit you will see the impressive buildings of the northern and central archaeological zones: the temple of Kukulkan (Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent), the ball game, the observatory, the temple of the warriors, the convent of the nuns and the cenote. Lunch in a local restaurant and continue towards the Mexican Caribbean coast.
