We will begin the Contrasts excursion in the city of New York at 8am-8:30am (depending on the location of your hotel and the designated stop). Our first destination will be the Boulevard East viewpoint, located in Alexander Hamilton Park in New Jersey. This is a unique aspect that sets our excursion apart from other Contrasts tours available, as we offer the chance to cross the Hudson River and explore the contrasts of the Big Apple from New Jersey. From this viewpoint, you can enjoy a privileged view of Manhattan. You will observe how the imposing skyscrapers and the urban skyline unfold before your eyes, creating an unforgettable visual spectacle. This stop is the perfect place to take stunning photographs and contemplate the beauty of Manhattan from a panoramic perspective.

We will continue our tour along the Hudson River, passing through the charming towns of Edgewater and Fort Lee. These towns, bathed by the calm waters of the river, provide a picturesque atmosphere and a pleasant experience during the journey. Our next point of interest will be the Fort Lee Historic Park, where you can delight in the view of the George Washington Bridge (which connects Manhattan with the Bronx) and the ;Hudson River. If you wish, you can return by bus to Hudson Yards or tell the guide that you prefer to stay on your own to cross the Brooklyn Bridge on foot or delight in the gastronomic offerings of the area.

The tour begins between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 8:20 a.m. (depending on the location of your hotel). Our first stop will be the majestic St. John the Divine Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in the world. At this point, we will give you a few minutes so you can get off the bus and admire this imposing Gothic structure. After getting on the bus, we will head to Harlem, but not before making a stop at the renowned Columbia University, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world. We will walk through its beautiful campus and tell you about the rich history and outstanding contributions of this university to society and culture. It will be an opportunity to appreciate the academic beauty and intellectual environment of this renowned institution. Continuing our way to Harlem, we will also make a stop in the Morningside Heights neighborhood in northern Manhattan to visit the General Grant Memorial Tomb, from where you can enjoy impressive views of the Washington Bridge. This monument commemorates General and former President of the United States Ulysses S. Grant and is an iconic site with deep historical significance. Once in Harlem, we will visit two of the iconic entertainment venues that have left an indelible mark on the history of jazz and soul: the Apollo Theater and theCotton Club. These legendary venues have witnessed the rise of great talents and cultural movements, and will immerse you in Harlem's rich musical tradition. The highlight of our tour will be attending an authentic gospel mass at Memorial Baptist Church, known for its soulful choirs and infectious spiritual atmosphere. The mass begins at 10:30 a.m. and concludes around 12:00 p.m. Here, you will experience the essence of gospel music, full of energy and devotion. You will be welcomed with open arms by the local community and will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony, sing and let yourself be carried away by the contagious spirit of music and faith. After the inspiring gospel mass, we will return along Fifth Avenue. Along the way, you will have the option to leave the tour and explore the different museums that are located on this famous avenue, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Guggenheim Museum. If you decide to continue with us, we will end the tour at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue, in front of Macy's, one of the iconic department stores in New York. From there, you can return to your hotel on your own or continue enjoying the wonders of the Big Apple.
