After breakfast, meet your guide at the reception of your hotel and transfer 80 km southwest of the city to visit the famous train market. You will be able to observe how as the train approaches the market, the merchants retract their sales stalls to allow the train to cross through the middle of the market. Once the visit is over, we will go to the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Breakfast. Today we will visit the most interesting temples in Chiang Mai. We will start at the Temple of the Lion Buddha, Wat Phra Singh, the most visited in the city. It was built in 1345 and is one of the most outstanding examples of Lanna architecture. Epicenter of the Songkran festivities for Buddhist faithful. We will head to Wat Chedi Luang, built 600 years ago around a partially ruined Lanna-style chedi and dating back to 1441. It is believed to have been one of the tallest structures in ancient Chiang Mai.
