Day 1:

AUCKLAND

Arrival at Auckland International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 2:

AUCKLAND

Breakfast at the hotel. The day begins with a visit to the West Coast, in the Muriwai Regional Park, whose main feature is its black sand coast. This beach is very popular among surfers and is also home to a colony of gannets. These magnificent birds spread their wings to more than a meter in length. The excursion continues with a visit to the Auckland Museum with its interesting collection of Maori and Polynesian art and relics, then we will visit the Parnell neighborhood where we will take a walk through one of the oldest neighborhoods in Auckland, then departure to Mission Bay. Then we'll head back to the city center to visit the Auckland Viaduct. They will then enjoy the 'All Black Experience', where they will learn about the history and passion of the All Blacks up close and personal, and allow them to celebrate New Zealand's rugby heritage, achievements and culture. The tour will end with a visit to the Sky Tower, the 328 meter high Auckland Tower. From there you can admire a unique view of the city and its two bays: Waitemata and Manukau. I'll go back to the hotel, then I have the rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 3:

AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Waitomo to visit the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We will begin the journey south of Auckland through the Bombay Hills, passing through the rich agricultural region of Waikato. Upon arrival at Waitomo, we will enjoy a guided tour that will take you through more than 250 meters of impressive underground landscapes. The highlight of your visit is a boat ride along the Waitomo River, where you'll see thousands of glowing worm lights that form the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you will experience a serene atmosphere and be fascinated and intrigued by the little glow worms that illuminate your path. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a traditional New Zealand-style barbecue at a local restaurant. After lunch we will continue towards Rotorua to reach the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Te Puia, Maori Thermal Reserve and Cultural Center with the New Zealand National Institute of Arts and Crafts, and where a prestigious wood carving school is located. In this reserve you will see various boiling silica and mud deposits, and you will take a tour of the geysers that are part of this reserve. You will then be welcomed in traditional style and watch a demonstration of Maori dances and songs. Later, they will enjoy a typical Maori cultural dinner. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 4:

ROTORUA – CHRISTCHURCH

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Waimangu Thermal Reserve, an extensive valley with abundant geothermal activity, where you can see the effect of the eruption of Mount Tarawera in 1886. Then, transfer to Rotorua airport to depart on a local flight to destination to Christchurch. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a brief panoramic tour of the city. After finishing the visit, transfer to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 5:

CHRISTCHURCH – WANAKA

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure to Lake Tékapo, a beautiful alpine lake with turquoise and crystalline waters surrounded by mountains, there you will have the opportunity to visit the emblematic Church of the Good Shepherd. Next, our Kiwi hosts will welcome you into their home and offer you a tasting of Pavlova, a famous New Zealand dessert. Continuation of the trip to Wanaka. During the tour we will be able to see impressive views of Mount Cook, the highest peak in the country with 3,750 meters of altitude and turquoise glacial lakes. Before reaching our next destination, we will pass through the MacKenzie Country area. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 6:

WANAKA – QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning to walk around this spectacular lake and its town full of cafes and craft shops. At midday, departure towards Queenstown, passing through the traditional mining town of Arrowtown and the “Bungy Bridge”, where the famous “Bungge Jumping” originated (jump not included). Next, we will visit a vineyard in the Central Otago region where you will enjoy a tasting of locally produced wines and later, an aperitif. Continuation to the city of Queenstown, arrival and brief panoramic tour of the city center. Arrival at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 7:

QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart on a full day excursion to Milford Sound, traveling through the Fjords National Park. A boat ride will take us to the Tasman Sea, where you will be able to appreciate how magnificent this fjord is, the Miter peak and the Bowen waterfalls. During the trip a lunch is included. Return to Queenstown by bus, or with an extra cost you can return by plane or helicopter, flying over this park of high waterfalls, jungle, coasts, rivers and valleys until you reach the city (return to Queenstown by plane or helicopter, not included. The reservation and payment of this service must be made at destination since it is subject to weather conditions). Lodging.
