Imperiales Express 5 days from Costa del Sol / Tarifa itinerary

Day 1:

COSTA DEL SOL / TARIFA / TANGIER / MEKNES / FEZ (160 km Spain + 398 km Morocco)

Transfer from the different pick-up points on the Costa del Sol to Tarifa. Boarding the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. Upon arrival, our Spanish-speaking Moroccan guide will be waiting for you and will accompany you throughout the tour. Departure to the imperial city of Meknes, for a panoramic tour of the city and the walls of Bab el Mansour. Continuation to Fez. Arrival at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.


IMPORTANT NOTE: The city of Meknes is currently undergoing renovation, which makes it impossible to visit due to the large number of important works being carried out.

Day 2:

FEZ

Breakfast. Visit of the city founded in the 8th century by Idriss I, considered the religious and cultural center of the country, and one of the 4 imperial capitals of Morocco. During this visit, a several-hour walking tour is carried out through the most emblematic places such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter and the great medina, which is accessed through the famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate, having the possibility of living a return to the past in a part of the city that still lives close to the Middle Ages. Walls that protect its interior made up of hundreds of labyrinthinely organized alleys where customers will be able to experience a thousand smells and flavors in this place considered a World Heritage Site. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3:

FEZ / RABAT / CASABLANCA / MARRAKECH (532 km)

Breakfast. Early departure to Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco, to visit the most emblematic places of this city such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca to visit the most emblematic places of this city such as the United Nations Square, the Corniche Boulevard and the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Once the visit is over, free lunch on the route (not included) and continue to Marrakech. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4:

MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA (243 km)

Breakfast. Visit of the city known as "the pearl of the South", which begins in the magnificent Menara gardens, which have a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, visit the exterior of the Koutoubia minaret, twin sister of the Giralda in Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, there is a visit to the Bahia Palace, property of a nobleman of the city. Finally, arrival at Jemaa el Fna square, one of the most interesting places in Morocco from where you can access the souks and the medina. Guilds of wood, ceramic, leather and spice craftsmen are some of the places to visit. Once the visit is over, lunch at a hotel in Marrakech and then departure to Casablanca. Arrival in Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

CASABLANCA / TANGIER / TARIFA / COSTA DEL SOL (338 km Morocco + 160 km Spain)

Breakfast. Departure to Tangier. Arrival in Tangier and transfer to the port to board the ferry to Tarifa. Arrival in Tarifa and continue towards the Costa del Sol.
