Breakfast and departure in a 4x4 vehicle for a full-day safari in Etosha National Park (the 4x4 vehicle is the property of the camp and will be shared with other guests). If there are more than 9 passengers, the guide will take turns between the vehicles to ensure a minimum of half a day of safari in Spanish. This National Park is one of the largest in Africa, and owes its unique landscape to the basin of a generally dry lake of approximately 5,000 km². Etosha was proclaimed as Namibia's first conservation area in 1907 by the then German government; at that time, it covered a large area of 93,240 km² and was then the largest hunting ground in the world. Some 114 species of mammals have been found within the park, and several of them are difficult to find in other areas of Africa and are in danger of extinction, such as the black rhinoceros, cheetah and black-fronted impala. The safari includes snacks organised by the camp, although a stop will be made at one of the lodges for lunch (not included). Return to the camp for dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure by road to the Damaraland region, where you can see the volcanic landscape with its incredible geological formations. On the way, we will make a stop to visit the Himba, the mythical tribe that only lives in Namibia. This excursion allows us to learn about the culture and lifestyle of these desert dwellers who live as semi-nomadic people and who after centuries continue to preserve their traditions. Continue to the lodge for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, departure in an open 4x4 vehicle for an excursion on the dry terraces of the Damaraland Rivers, in search of the elusive Desert Elephant. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast at the lodge and departure to visit the Twyfelfontein rock carvings, dating back up to 6,000 years and the largest example of rock art in Africa. After the visit, we continue to Swakopmund, one of the most popular holiday resorts on the Namibian coast. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Breakfast and transfer to Walvis Bay for a catamaran cruise to spot dolphins and sea lions while tasting the excellent local oysters, canapés and sparkling wine. Breakfast and departure in the morning to visit the dunes of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, some of which are up to 300 metres high. Depending on the time of day, they take on different colours, from yellow to red, passing through different shades of orange. We will climb one of the dunes to admire the immensity of this desert. Then, we will visit the Sesriem Canyon, which over centuries of erosion has carved out a narrow gorge of about 1 km in length. At the bottom of the gorge, which is 30 - 40 metres high, are the natural pools that fill up during the rainy season. Sesriem derives its name from the time when pioneers had to tie six lengths of leather together to draw water from the pools. Lunch at the hotel and free afternoon at your leisure. Dinner and accommodation.
