Breakfast and transfer with an English-speaking driver to Adelaide airport (*) for a flight to Kangaroo Island (**). Arrival and transfer to the hotel, with an English-speaking driver. Next, departure on a full-day excursion. Kangaroo Island is a nature lover's paradise, with growing native wildlife, spectacular coastal views and fertile farmland. Your local guide will take you on a personalized tour of Kangaroo Island to see Australian sea lions, kangaroos, koalas and native Australian birds in pristine wildlife environments. A visit to CP Seal Bay, where you can admire Sea Lions resting on the beach. The guide will take you to the beach, a few meters from it. The tour will then head to Duck Lagoon where you can see many parrots including Crimson Rosella and Rainbow Lorikeet. Eucalyptus trees bloom on the banks of the freshwater lagoon formed by the Cygnet River and koalas can be seen there. After lunch, we will visit Emu Bay beach, where you can watch dolphins swimming near the shore. This beach is one of the most beautiful and safe swimming spots on the island, and in summer, when possible, we try to include a short stop for a swim, before heading towards Stokes Bay, where at night, you can see many kangaroos and wallabies coming out to graze. Stokes Bay is also famous for its rock tunnel to reach the beach in front of it. Near the bay you can see a couple more koalas. At the end of the tour, after seeing sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies (and if you're lucky, even an echidna) up close, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 4:

KANGAROO ISLAND

Breakfast. Today continue your tour on Kangaroo Island, this time heading west to discover Flinders Chase National Park, one of the oldest and most important national parks in southern Australia. Due to the 2019 fires, the itinerary has changed slightly to allow for the regeneration of areas affected by the fires. Fires are part of "everyday" life in Australia and the vegetation is used to them, in fact they need fire to regenerate. On the way to the East End of the island we will be able to see part of the North Coast and we will stop to visit Snelling Beach, one of the best beaches on the island and Western River where we will have morning tea with coffee observing the rugged coast of KI. In this area, we will often see some sleepy koalas and kangaroos grazing. In the afternoon, we will take a walk through the famous Remarkable Rocks rock formations (only 5 million years old). Not far from there we can observe the Long-nosed Furseals (also known as New Zealand Furseals) playing in the rock pools below Admirals Arch. At the end of the tour, after seeing up close sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and, if you're lucky, even an echidna, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

You'll have time to explore and support the local economy of Apollo Bay as this is our stop for lunch (own expense) before heading to the Great Otway National Park to walk among stunning ancient rainforest habitats. The afternoon will be filled with wonder at the coast of shipwrecks and the gigantic piles of limestone, known as the 12 Apostles. Additionally, the cliffside beaches of Loch Ard Gorge are part of the Port Campbell National Park, which has been carved out of the wild Southern Ocean over a period of time.
