Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of the city, lasting approximately three hours. We will begin this orientation tour of Tromso, visiting the northernmost botanical gardens in the world, where you can enjoy the views of the mountains to the east and south. Tromso enjoys a subarctic climate as its location corresponds to the northern coast of Alaska. During the tour you will be provided with information about the indigenous Sami people, their traditional culture and recent history. We continue around the island passing Lake Prestvatn, where the Meteorological Institute is located. We will cross the bridge to the Arctic Cathedral to visit this masterpiece by Norwegian architect Jan Inge Hovig, built in 1965 and which reflects the nature, culture and faith of northern Norway with a monumental stained glass window. The tour ends in Polaria, so those who wish to do so can extend the excursion with a visit to the museum (entrance not included), returning to the hotel on their own as it is located within walking distance. In the afternoon, around 6:30 p.m., our representative will be waiting for you at the entrance of your hotel to take you by bus to the "Aurora Husky Camp", where you will be provided with thermal clothing and boots so that you can enjoy the night in a more comfortable, warm and dry way during the excursion. 300 Alaskan huskies will be waiting at the farm, and you can also visit the puppies' pen. Once this first meeting with your new friends is over, we will go to enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner in a cozy cabin. You will be served Norwegian cod, prepared with cod and tomato sauce, and for dessert a tasty chocolate cake. As it is impossible to predict the appearance of the Aurora Borealis dance, your guide will be very attentive looking at the sky and the program will be adjusted to the possible appearance of this natural phenomenon. And for those who wish, they can stay and observe the beautiful views of nature, with the possibility of sitting comfortably by a bonfire to stay warm and relaxed.
