Spaniards only need a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of return and a ticket to leave the country. It is not necessary to arrange a visa in advance, upon arrival at the airport a visa valid for 30 days is delivered free of charge.
The official language is Dhivehi. Due to tourism and the fact that their language is not widespread in the outside world, in any hotel the employees speak English almost perfectly.
Warm and humid all year round, with an average temperature between 29 and 32ºC, making any season the perfect time to enjoy a few days on one of the beautiful islands. Although the best months are usually those from November to April, since during that time there is less chance of rain and the days are sunnier.
