It is considered the largest oasis in Tunisia. It is located a few kilometers from the border with Algeria next to Chott el Djerid and has a vast expanse of palm trees that produce the exquisite “Deglet Nour” date, from which it is exported to the rest of the world. One of its charms lies in the Medina, its ancient city, with its labyrinthine streets.
